Evangelism Programs

Greeters

Volunteers are assigned greeting duties, which include greeting Sunday Morning at the 10:30 service. This task is very important as it is the visitor's first impression of our church. Newcomers will be visited at their homes and presented with a special gift.

Prayer Chain

This is a group of believers who will pray for a specific need such as illness or death. The leader is notified and calls the next person on the list until all are reached and praying. Prayer is powerful.

Helping Hands

We have a grjoup of women who will bring meals to fellow members in the event of a death in the family or a serious illness.

Dinner for Six

Monthly fellowship dinners for small groups meeting in member homes or at a restaurant. A wonderful time to get to know each other.

50 Plus

A group of women over the age of 50 meet every Thursday to socialize, to have Bible study, and to quilt. The quilts are made at the church and taken to World Relief to be sent overseas to those in need.

Germantown Help

Sarah Burkholder coordinates this effort of support to provide canned goods, backpacks for school children, and many other projects for the people in need in the Germantown area.
